Schedule for the day:

Remember - this is an unconference so attendees will create the schedule in the morning. Be thinking of things you would be interested in having a conversation about. Use this link to start brainstorming! Possible ideas for topics include:
  • new ways to use nonfiction in the classroom
  • how to host a battle of the books
  • types and focus on book awards
  • the science of reading programs and ideas
  • encouraging the love of reading with secondary students
  • author/illustrators discuss writing tips and ways art can support writing
  • and any other topics that you would like to share!
A note page for each room will be available to record ideas, resources, etc. Pages are linked to the schedule. You will receive the schedule link on Saturday. We encourage everyone to take collaborative notes to capture all the thinking and ideas–which is why having a device will be really helpful.
